Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, a commercial real estate company, was acquired by Transwestern, a larger privately held real estate firm. To celebrate its 12 years of greatness, RBJ hosted a party with its best clients and new team members from Transwestern.
An invitation that combined elegance and fun was necessary to embody the essence of RBJ. I took inspiration from the Art Deco style as well as "The Great Gatsby" movie. Both represent luxury, glamour, and exuberance, which are all descriptors of RBJ as well.
The invitation became the foundation for a set posters that was displayed on either side of the entrance to the event similar to movie advertisements outside the theaters.
